Founders' Associate (internship)

We are seeking an exceptionally motivated and versatile Founders' Associate to join our lean and ambitious team. This is a unique opportunity to work directly alongside our founders and senior management, gaining invaluable exposure to all facets of building and scaling a tech startup from the ground up. You will be a critical linchpin in our daily operations, providing essential support that allows our leadership to focus on strategic growth initiatives.
📒 At Helio with this hands-on and entrepreneurial role, you will:
Operational Support:
Streamline and manage day-to-day administrative tasks, ensuring efficient workflow for the founders and management team.
Coordinate meetings, manage complex calendars, and prepare necessary materials (agendas, presentations).
Assist with onboarding new team members and managing HR-related administrative processes.
Support the implementation and optimization of internal tools and processes to enhance productivity.
Act as a central point of contact for various internal and external stakeholders.
Financial Reporting & Investor Relations:
Prepare and consolidate financial data for regular investor reports (monthly/quarterly updates).
Assist in the creation of investor presentations, pitch decks, and other fundraising materials.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics relevant for investor communications.
Support due diligence processes during future fundraising rounds.
Research & Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend reports to inform strategic decisions.
Gather and synthesize data to support business development, product strategy, and new market entry initiatives.
Prepare concise summaries and actionable insights from research findings.
Project Management & Ad-Hoc Support:
Lead or support special projects as assigned by the founders, often spanning multiple departments.
Assist with content creation, social media management, and basic marketing tasks as needed.
Provide support on legal and compliance-related administrative tasks.
Be a proactive problem-solver, anticipating needs and offering solutions before being asked.
🤝 You’ll be a great fit for the job if you:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Tech, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, such as a startup or venture capital fund, or you have founded a business before.
Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis (advanced Google Sheets skills are a plus).
Experience with investor relations or financial reporting is a significant advantage.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Embrace AI usage for meaningful results, increased productivity, and speed.

Our office is located in Zurich, Switzerland.
A fluent level of English is required.
German skills are a benefit.
💰 Salary and Benefits
30’000 CHF total compensation (Zurich).
Intership is 6-12 months and can evolve into a full-time position after Series A.
